Overview of Services

Our Flow Cytometry Facility provides researchers within APC, Cork University affiliated institutions and  industry partners with capabilities, such as:

 

1) Practical training for FACS analysis on Celesta, Accuri, FACS Calibur

2) Experimental Design: Design of Flow cytometry experiment Ab panel, controls, sorting strategy

3) Data Analysis using FlowJo, Cell Quest, FCS Express or Diva software

4) Assisted Acquisition

5) Cell sorting

These acknowledgements are an important source of documentary evidence to help us build a case for sustainability of the platform at APC Microbiome Ireland and to support the continued professional development and training of staff members in the APC Flow Cytometry Platform. Acknowledgements help us to secure internal as well as external funding to maintain and upgrade instruments in our facility.
